easyJet has launched a new daily service between Jersey and Liverpool Airport, less than two weeks after launching flights to the island from Luton Airport. The new route is available from £21.99 one way including taxes.

More passengers take bus to Liverpool Airport PDF Print E-mail

More people are taking public transport to Liverpool Airport than ever before, according to figures released by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). They show 15% of all passengers last year travelled to the airport by bus or train, up 75% on 2005 and above the 12% target set for 2008 by an Airport Transport Forum.

Ryanair announce new routes from Bristol, East Midlands, Liverpool and Prestwick PDF Print E-mail

Ryanair has announced 13 new routes from four of its UK hubs - Bristol, East Midlands, Liverpool and Prestwick - including its first flights to Belfast City Airport. The news comes less than a week after the airline scrapped eleven routes, including three from Liverpool Airport.

After Belgian airline VLM's Liverpool Airport to London link was terminated on Sunday, a spokesman the airport said it hoped to reinstate a route to the capital as soon as possible.

Flyglobespan scrap Liverpool - New York flights PDF Print E-mail

Scottish budget airline Flyglobespan has announced that it is to scrap its flights between Liverpool Airport and New York, less than 6 weeks after launching the route. The flights, which are expected to restart today after one plane spent nearly a week grounded in America due to a technical fault, will be scrapped on October 31. Passengers booked for journeys after that date have been notified.
