The Latvian airline airBaltic carried 129,689 passengers in March 2007, or 34% more than in the same month in 2006, when airBaltic transported 96,851 passengers.
During the first quarter of 2007, airBaltic transported a total of 338,217 passengers, or 28% more than during the same period in 2006, when the total number of passengers was 264,803. In March, airBaltic provided 2,491 flights, or 16% more than the 2,154 flights, which were offered in March 2006. Between January and the end of March, the airline increased its number of flights by 22% over the same period in 2006 – up to 7,045 flights in all. Cabin factor in March 2007 was at a level of 59%, or 3% points more than in March 2006, when it was 56%. During the first quarter of 2007 cabin factor was at a level of 55%.
